Lovely Lemon Laundry Soap

1 cup (240 ml) liquid castile soap
1/4 cup (60 ml) aloe vera juice
1/4 cup (60 ml) white vinegar
1/2 cup (475 ml) water
10 to 15 drops lemon essential oil

There's something truly satisfying about making a fresh batch of a homemade cleaning supply, and this formula will get you through about eight average loads of laundry. If you don't have any aloe vera juice handy, double the amount of vinegar. Combine the soap, aloe vera juice, vinegar, water, and essential oil in a container with a lid. Shake gently a few times to mix ingredients and use as you would commercial laundry soap (about 1/4 cup [60ml] per load).
