Homemade Salt Scrub for Cellulite
Used frequently, this scrub stimulates the circulation and enhances the flow of lymph, which helps reduce cellulite. Wet your body in a warm shower. Massage a handful of sea salt on your buttocks and thighs for two minutes. Rinse well with warm water and then cold water. Your skin will tingle as your circulation increases. Use this massage daily if desired. CAUTION: Do not use this scrub on broken or inflamed skin. This included just shaved legs.
To increase comfort to scrub, add a bit of almond oil or coconut oil to the salt to soften the skin.
This treatment is a popular body scrub in many top spas around the world. As a seasoned Aesthetician a few tricks I would use would be to use a body brush on the areas of concern first, then add your scrub mixture to the skin using a massage to work the circulation. The blood flow to the areas allows the body to detoxify the cellulite and remove waste through your lymphatic system.
