Tea-Tree Oil Tub and Tile Cleanser
Soap scum, hard water mineral deposits, and plain old dirt can eventually build up and leave their own unwanted story on your tub and tiles. Fortunately, there's a quick and easy formula you can put together to give your shower a proper scrub every week or two. Combine the baking soda and soap in a large bowl. Stir slowly until thoroughly mixed, then stir in the water (work slowly to avoid building a lot of lather). Add the vinegar and essential oil. Transfer the finished mixture to a squirt-top bottle. When using, shake mixture gently and apply with a damp sponge to clean surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water to avoid leaving a residue.
1 cup (220 g) baking soda
1/4 cup (60 ml) liquid castile soap
1/2 cup (120 ml) water
1 tablespoon (15 ml) vinegar
1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) tea-tree essential oil
