Lavender Soft Scrub Cleaner

3/4 cup (165 g) baking soda
1/4 cup (30 g) powdered milk
5 drops lavender essential oil
1/4 teaspoon (1.5 ml) liquid castile soap
Water, to make a paste

While being surprisingly gentle, baking soda has a solid reputation for taking on tough stains and spills. Its texture gives baking soda extra cleaning power. Combine the baking soda, powdered milk, and essential oil in a small plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. Shake vigorously to combine ingredients, and then set aside in a cool, dark place until you're ready to use. To make a batch of soft scrub, simply scoop a spoonful (or two) of the mixture into a small bowl. Add a squirt of liquid castile soap and just enough water to make a smooth paste. Use with a damp sponge to gently clean nonporous surfaces, and then rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
