Natural Remedy for Migraines
Natural Remedy for Migraines
Ease your mind with herbs and nutrients – Magnesium, Willow bark, Riboflavin B2 and Feverfew
Whether you've been hit with a classic low-grade migraine or a full-blown migraine complete with aura and flashing lights, these are the worst types of headaches and can be debilitating for many people.
Not to be confused with tension headaches, migraines are much more severe and incapacitating, lasting anywhere from four to seventy-two hours. More women experience mograines than men, most likely because of the role that hormones play (consider the fact that many women get them either right before or during menstration and that most migraines actually disappear after menopause).
But there's hope. Research has shown that a number of nutrients-and a couple of powerful herbs-may significant;y help sufferers of migraines ( and perhaps headaches in general). And it's those nutrients-CoQ10, riboflavin, and magnesium-and herbs-butterbur and feverfew-that form the backbone of the natural prescription for migraines, with maybe some 5-HTP thrown in for good measure.
