Tooth – Bolstering Green Tea Blend
Tooth – Bolstering Green Tea Blend
4 cups (950 ml) water
2 tablespoons (30 ml ) dried green tea
1/2 cup (12 g) fresh mint leaves
Did you know that green tea is a natural source of flouride? While too much fluoride can be toxic, dentists have long found a small amount of flouride to be an important ally in the fight against tooth decay. And with this particular blend of green tea, you also get the fresh breath benefit of mint. Make a batch at night, and you'll have enough to sip throughout the day. Bring the water to a gentle boil and pour over the green tea and mint. Let mixture steep for about 10 minutes, keeping the cup covered to preserve the volatile oils. Strain, then refrigerate until ready to drink.
